About Anders Jahre's Awards for Medical Research
The Anders Jahre's Awards for Medical Research are awarded by the University of Oslo and are among the largest in Nordic medical research.
Two prizes are awarded each year:
- The Anders Jahre Senior Medical Prize (the main prize) of one million Norwegian kroner
- The Anders Jahre Young Scientist Prize of 400,000 Norwegian kroner
All professors in medicine in the Nordics can nominate candidates.
