Renting and use of UiO's premises

UiO does not normally rent out its premises to external parties or initiatives that are not related to the university's activities.

Rules when using UiO's premises

Everyone using UiO's premises must comply with the general rules regarding access, waste management, protection of art, catering and fire safety.

Student associations

Approved student associations, as well as program and subject committees, can use UiO's premises for free. Please read the information on the website thoroughly before applying.

Events and stands

Guidelines for events aimed at students and stands outdoors and indoors, as well as conferences, award ceremonies, and other large events.

If you need to borrow tables, chairs, or a tent, you can order this through Estate Services after the application for your event or information stall has been approved, and no later than two days before.

If you need outdoor sidewalk signs to market your event, you must also order them through Estate Services.
