Intensive Norwegian courses in the summer

The International Summer School (ISS) offers intensive Norwegian courses for international researchers with an ambition to acquire comprehensive Norwegian language skills in a short period of time.

Basic course information

  • Levels: 1-3 (elementary, intermediate and advanced)
  • Duration: 6 weeks, 3 hours five days a week, i.e. 78 class hours
  • Credits: Levels 1, 2 & 4 15 credits, Level 3 20 credits
  • Maximum number of participants: 25
  • Course fee:  NOK 15.500 (same price for all levels)
  • Application deadline: 15 February
  • Course start: Last week in June
  • Note: Course attendance is mandatory. Final oral and written examinations. The courses provide ECTS credits.
