Target audience
This course is primarily targeted for early career reseachers, such as PhD candidates and postdocs. The workshop is suitable for all PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers, regardless of how far you have progressed in your program
Course content
Career planning isn’t about having all the answers – it’s about asking the right questions. In this workshop, you’ll map out what’s important to you, identify the skills you want to build on, and explore the opportunities that align with your personal and professional goals. Whether you’re just starting your PhD or nearing the end of a postdoc, this course gives you a helpful starting point for making thoughtful, well-informed decisions about your future.

Prerequisites and practical information
- The course will be a combination of presentation, individual tasks, experience-sharing, and group discussion.
- We kindly ask you to unregister if you are not able to participate, as there might be a long waiting list.

Else Marie Lingaas works with career development for early stage researchers, management development, and the implementation of UiO’s standards for career support.
Natalia Andronova is responsible for the administration of the PhD programme at the Faculty of Dentistry.
