Learn more about ways to write a CV and cover letter for your future job. You will also get tips on how to prepare for your job interview.

Target audience 

This course is primarily targeted for early career reseachers, such as PhD candidates and postdocs. The workshop is suitable for all PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers, regardless of how far you have progressed in your program.

 

In this course, you will learn

  • About different ways to structure and write your CV
  • About tips and tricks for a successful cover letter
  • How to prepare for a job interview

Time and Place

  • Course date: May 6, 2025. From 12:15-15:00. 12th floor in Niels Treschows House. 

Prerequisites and practical information

  • The course will be a combination of presentation, individual tasks, experience-sharing, and group discussion. 
  • Coffee and tea will be served
  • We kindly ask you to unregister if you are not able to participate, as there might be a long waiting list.

Price

  • The course is free of charge, but registration is required. 

About the instructors

The workshop will be held by HR-advisor Julie B?rdsen T?llefsen and reseachs advisor Lisa Nordick from The Faculty of Humanities together with head of office Andrew Feltham from Centre for Gender Research.
