Events

Our group organizes a Christmas party, a autumn cabin trip and more low-key events like Waffle Thursdays and After work payday drinks. In addition to this, the department of Physics arranges a "Kringlefest" every December.

Lunch

We tend to be informal and relaxed – at noon, there is always someone to lunch with at the kitchen area.

Health and saftey

Safety procedures and routines are given during lab and instrument training.

Safety deputy: Halvor Dolva.

Local radiation protection coordinator: Vegard R?nning

Fire safety contact: Vegard Skiftestad Olsen.

The MiNaLab and NorFab

The labs uses a booking system called LIMS. The first time you want to use equipment in the lab you will need to apply for access through the LIMS-system. This is also done to ensure that all the users of the lab have training in using the lab. You can apply here:

If you have any questions regarding access to the lab talk to NorFab’s laboratory manager - Vegard Skiftestad Olsen.
