Internal moving services

The internal moving service includes:

• Relocation of furniture, loose fixtures and boxed that do not require equipment beyond a simple trolley.
• The Estate Department (EA) will assess if the relocation service can be carried out by EA and will book a moving company when necessary.
• Transportation only between UiO's premises.
• UiO has a framework agreement with a moving company that can be used for larger moving tasks.

Units are responsible for:

• Packing loose items and books in boxes.
• Ordering unloading of user equipment from the supplier. The supplier is responsible for insurance until the equipment is in place in UiO's premises.
• Relocating items to and from an employee's home.
• Relocating items that do not belong to UiO, e.g. private belongings.
• Waste removal.
• Loading or unloading vehicles with user equipment.

Book internal moving service

1. Report the need for internal relocation through Estate Services
2. Select "Relocation" in the dropdown menu. Select the subcategory that fits the assignment. 
3. Fill out all required fields marked with an asterisk. 
4. Cross off that you wish to follow the assignment so the Section for Logistics can contact you if needed.
