The support should be used to prepare grant applications.
The support may cover the following costs
- Costs related to partner search / establishing project consortia
- Travel
- Organising or participating in workshops and seminars
- Reallocating staff time normally earmarked for teaching (‘frikj?p’)
- Research assistants
- External consultants, proofreading
- Searching for data, datasets or similar
- Piloting
- Other relevant activities
Applications
Your research administration submits the application on your behalf. Applications are processed by the research dean and the research administration at the Faculty. All applications require approval from the Head of the applicant's Department/Centre.

FRIPRO stimulation funds 2025
The Faculty of Social Sciences has introduced stimulation funds for scientific staff submitting FRIPRO proposals in 2025.
The funds are awarded as part of the faculty's established scheme for application development support. Note that a separate, simplified form is required to apply for FRIPRO stimulation funds.
