 Professor Arnoldo Frigessi, leader of Integreat, was surprised and delighted when he was recently awarded the NORA Lifetime Achievement Award for his eminent academic contributions to research and for his supervision of innumerable students.

She has handled everything from the management of the collection of skeletal remains to the promotion of good teaching ¨C Lene Frost Anderson has had quite a journey as Head of IMB.

In September, there will be an election for a new Head of the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences. Submit your nomination.

Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority have awarded Hybrid Technology Hub members Jo Waaler and Stefan a grant of 1 000 000 NOK for theproject "Tankyrase Inhibiton in Cancer Immunotherapy"

UiO are about to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and IMB have to reinstall all computers with Windows 7.

Hybrid Technology Hub researcher Jo Waaler is awarded a grant of 4,4 million NOK for the project Tankyrase Inhibition in Cancer Immunotherapy. The grant is awarded by Helse S?r ?st.

UiO:Life Science hopes to see Norwegian finalists in the pitch competition at the tech conference SLUSH in Helsinki on 5 December. The winner is granted 30 000 euros. Life science students and researchers in startups or pre-startups are welcome to apply before 1 October at 12:00.
