Dear employees,
On Monday 12 February, the ARK survey will be sent to all employees at UiO who fulfil the criteria for participation. Read more about this year’s survey here.
15 minutes of your time
It will only takes 15 minutes and we hope and believe that anyone who can will take the time.
Your answers will give your manager insights that can be used to address major and minor issues at your unit. The survey also gives you the opportunity to tell your manager what is good and that you want to continue.
A good manager wants answers
It is the task of managers to ensure that their employees respond, and all employees at MED should feel confident that they should be able to answer honestly and genuinely. You can rest assured that your privacy is taken seriously.
Your response is necessary for ARK to become a good tool for not only examining status, but also for developing and maintaining our work environment. A good working environment is essential for well-being, work satisfaction, motivation, and therefore for all of us who perform at work every day.
Ark will be conducted every three years at the UiO
The results from the previous ARK survey in 2022 were good and we had a high level of support. This time, we will join the survey that is aligned for the entire UiO every three years.
I am used to the hospital sending out their surveys once a year, so the UiO’s procedure is quite relaxed but also effective – providing as many people as possible respond. Hopefully more people will respond this year than on the previous occasion.
Follow-up cases from the survey in 2022 were handled at the units and at several sites we were able to sort out cases that we otherwise might not have known about. Otherwise, the results were very good on average and we hope for equally good feedback this year.
A lot going on at MED
Otherwise, as usual, many different assignments and activities are taking place at MED. I need to give special thanks this time to all our researchers who have made a tremendous effort with the reports that have now been submitted to the Research Council’s EVALMEDHELSE, and also a big thank you to the organisers and participants at the seminar on anti-racism held on the Sámi National Day on 6 February!
