Dear colleagues,
The Faculty of Medicine’s work on our common social mission is based on good collaboration and interaction between all of us working and studying at the faculty.
Of course, it is also very important to have skilled and dedicated leaders, and we are very pleased that the University Board decided on 14 May to appoint Hanna Ekeli as our new faculty director (link in Norwegian) due to the retirement of Hans Mossin this summer.
Ekeli is the new faculty director
Hanna Ekeli is currently the Director of Academic Affairs at UiO and has been Director of Support Units since September 2015.
She knows UiO very well and has solid leadership experience in a complex organisation.
The faculty director is a member of the Dean’s management team, and manages on behalf of the Dean’s administration at faculty level.
We warmly welcome Hanna Ekeli to the Faculty of Medicine, and we look forward to working together on our vision of ‘Outstanding knowledge for future health’.
