Medical Library, Skills Centre, and Reading Rooms Moving from Rikshospitalet to Gaustad

The Medical Library, Skills Centre, and reading rooms at the Rikshospitalet are moving from section B2 at Rikshospitalet to Building 10 at the Gaustad Hospital. The move will occur next week, starting Monday, 23rd September.

This relocation means that teaching in several medical study modules, as well as the OSCE exams in module 6 and module 8, and the SME exam in module 2, will be conducted in Building 10. Students and lecturers with activities directly impacted by the move will receive detailed information about this from the module coordinator in their respective modules.

In connection with the move, both the Medical Library, the Skills Centre, and the reading rooms at Rikshospitalet will be temporarily closed. The library will reopen on 7th October, and the Skills Centre will reopen on 30th September after the move.

Read more about the move and when the various facilities will close and reopen in Building 10 here.

We ask for your understanding regarding any inconveniences the move may cause, and we hope and believe that both students and staff will settle comfortably into the new locations.

Best regards, Magnus
