Dear esteemed colleagues at MED!
I am writing to you now to wish you all a very happy Easter and to express my gratitude for your efforts throughout this winter.
Spring is truly on the way, and I hope you have a wonderful Easter, wherever you may be.
Congratulations to Team Hennum
I would like to congratulate Dean Ragnhild Hennum and her Team Hennum on being elected as the Rectorate of UiO for the next four years, commencing on 1 August. An additional congratulations goes to Professor Jens Petter Berg at MED for his role as Pro-Rector. We at MED look forward to collaborating with the new Rectorate.
I believe all of us who stood for election found it to be an interesting (but rather lengthy) campaign. However, it seems that the significant effort may have contributed to a higher electoral participation than before, which I am pleased about.
I would also like to thank everyone who contributed to the discussions and the election in various ways. This shows that the university democracy at UiO is thriving, as Uniforum summarises here in Norwegian: Leader: A victory for university democracy.
Annual report for 2023 - 2024 presented to the Faculty Board
Our deanship at MED looks forward to continuing the work at this excellent faculty together with you. We have just presented our annual report (.pdf in Norwegian) to the Faculty Board, which provides a good overview of the work that has been carried out in recent years, in accordance with our strategy and annual plan. Please take a look at the report and share your thoughts on what kind of work we should prioritise going forward.
