The event is part of the Faculty of Medicine's project within BALANSE+, The Norwegian Research Council program aimed at promoting gender balance, diversity, and inclusion in Norwegian research and higher education.
It is open to everyone, but particularly targeted towards scientific and administrative staff. The event will be conducted in Norwegian, although some presentations will be in English. The event will also be interpreted in sign language.

2:00 PM: Welcome and introduction by Hanne Flinstad Harbo, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine
2:10 PM: Opening remarks by Usman Mushtaq, State Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Care Services, and ?se Gornitzka, Pro-Rector at the University of Oslo
2:30 PM: Brief introductions on the value of diversity in selected areas:
- Leadership: Solveig Kristensen, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
- Recruitment: Sumeet Singh, Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at Schibsted
- Research: Ragnhild Hennum, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Chair of the Committee for Gender Balance and Diversity in Research (Kif Committee)
- Teaching: Jarle Breivik, responsible for the TEAM program at the Faculty of Medicine, aimed at developing trust, collaboration, and leadership responsibility among the students
- Healthcare: Patji Aln?s-Katjavivi, Senior Hospital Doctor at Oslo University Hospital, and Ragnhild Storstein Spilker, Associate Professor at the Department of Nursing and Health Promotion at Oslo Met.
The host is Eli Feiring, Vice-Dean for Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programmes at the Faculty of Medicine.

3:40 PM: Panel discussion with all speakers. The discussion will be led by Tony Sandset, Chair of the Committee for Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI Committee) at the Faculty of Medicine.
4:00 PM: Cultural performance by Kirsti Karina Dahl S?ternes
4:10 PM: Launch of informational video about the Faculty of Medicine
4:15 PM Networking for all who wish to participate.
