What has happened so far?

We are very proud of the startups that emerged from CoCreate the previous year. Thank you to Media Matters, Arctech Robotics, PAI, Local Bloom and Tocin for your contributions. We can’t wait to see what’s next for you!

Throughout the year, we've witnessed students coming together, starting from scratch to create their very own startups. Many began with no prior entrepreneurial experience, yet demonstrated their potential by identifying challenges and developing innovative solutions.

Media Matters are working to improve media literacy among the public, by setting new standards for how people share and consume news. With backgrounds in sociology, philosophy, and journalism, they brought a unique perspective to attack the complex issue of misinformation and disinformation on social media. After participating in a pitching event at iHub, Media Matters won the audience award, receiving 30,000 NOK to invest in their startup. Congratulations!

PAI is developing an AI assistant specifically designed  for relatives of patients in healthcare. Through their studies in healthcare, the founders gained practical experience working with families affected by illness. There they discovered that those affected by illness in close relationships lacked the support they deserved.

One of the founders of PAI shared how CoCreate helped him bring his idea to life:
“I already have enough theory, so my goal was not to learn more theory, but to actually create something. This was the only program that gave me the opportunity to do that.”
