SPARK Norway Educational Forum are monthly open meetings organized by UiO:Life Science and SPARK Norway partners.

Obtaining the necessary funding when you want to commercialize an academic idea and build a startup is a huge challenge, especially if you don’t know where to start. Following the wrong path can mean the difference between success or wasted time.

Erling Nordb?

Erling has 18 years experience from global pharmaceutical and biotech companies. He has also worked with a large range of Norwegian health startups, everything from pharma to digital health solutions.

Over the last 4 years he has been leading Aleap in Oslo Science Park, a national incubator for health startups. Erling holds an MBA from ESCP Business School.


Nicolas Elvemo 

CEO and co-founder of GlucoSet AS

Nicolas has built a medical device company from a university spin-off to a VC-funded startup with 15 employees. He has also experience with business and strategy work from several organizations, including startups, nonprofits and management consulting

Nicolas is a licensed medical doctor with a PhD in clinical medicine, and is now finishing his MBA degree.
