Globalization, Inequality, Energy

Bringing together French and Norwegian participants from academia, industry and government institutions, this seminar aims at covering some of the topics related to energy and sustainable development.

The conference is part of a French-Nordic cycle of conferences: Globalisation and inequality.

Time and place: – , Auditorium 2, Helga Engs hus, Sem S?lands vei 7

On the second day of the seminar we will focus on financing, renewables for development and also present some relevant business projects:

  • The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) and Agence Fran?aise de Développement (AFD) will present current projects and possibilities for funding
  • Representatives from the energy industry will present some sustainable initiatives chaired by the Norwegian Solar Energy Cluster
  • We will award Alf Bj?rseth’s inspirational prize to the best PhD thesis at UiO within renewable energy or advanced materials during the past year.
