UiO: Energy is offering a workshop in scientific writing for PhD students working within the field of sustainable energy and the energy transition.

The workshop is open for PhD students working within the field of sustainable energy and the energy transition across all faculties and disciplines. UiO: Energy will cover food, lodging and course expenses for all participants. The course will be held at Holmen Fjordhotell

The aim of the course is that the participants shall make significant advances in their own writing process, enhance their vocabulary for talking about writing and learn some simple techniques for structuring drafts and revising for publication.

The course is held by Kari Skinningsrud, founder of writing and consulting company, Limwric.

The workshop has a limit of 15 participants. If more than 15 sign up, UiO:Energy will prioritize candidates that are late in their academic progression in their PhD work. We also aim to put together an interdisciplinary group of participants, and in the first session you'll briefly present yourself and your research to the rest of the group.
