To change display language in Notepad++

You can change the display language for Notepad++. A language pack with Norwegian Bokm?l and Norwegian Nynorsk is included in the software database, and may be installed after Notepad ++ is installed. Additional languages must be installed for the user (unprivileged/personal) or Centrally (for the computer). Please note that you need an administrator password to install a language pack. If you do not have an administrator password for your computer, please ask your local IT staff for assistance. Some older versions (pre-5.8.7) have more languages included in the main installation.

1. Open the Settings menu i Notepad++ and select Preferences....

2. Select Localization on the General tab and choose your prefered language in the pulldown menu displaying the languages.
