VMware Horizon Client with Educloud Research

On your personal device

1. Download the software from VMwares download page
2. Select the row corresponding with your operating system and click Go to downloads on the right-hand side
3. Click Download Now
4. Open the downloaded installation file and follow the instructions to install the software.
5. The installation requires a reboot.

On a UiO-managed device (Windows)

On UiO-managed devices VMware Horizon Client can be downloaded from Windows Software Center

1. To open Software Center press Windows + S or open the start-menu and type software center
2. Press enter to start the application
3. In the upper right corner of Software Center search for horizon
4. Click on VMware Horizon Client
   • If multiple versions are available, chose the one with the highest version number below
5. Click on Install. The software will be ready shortly
