Getting started with the digital board collaboration plattform Miro at UiO

Miro can be used byfaculty/staff and students at UiO.

Access

Student: 

UiO does not offer Miro to students, but Miro has a separate Education license that is free for students. If you are a student and want to use Miro, go to Miro's website and apply for access there. When you register, you must use an email address in the format username@student.faculty.uio.no.

 ¡úRegister to get a free Education license. 

Faculty/staff:

• Have you been invited to view or comment on a Miro board but don't have a license? You can log in and get access to basic features. In the email field, enter username@uio.no, not your actual email address. The password is the same as for other UiO services. ¡ú Log in to Miro.
• Do you want full access to Miro to create a team with your own boards? ¡ú Fill out the Nettskjema-form to get a full license (Norwegian only).
  Currently, only employees in UB, IT, and FELLESADM can get a full license.

We have created a separate Welcome Board that you can navigate through to learn about Miro.

If you do not get directly to the Welcome Board, you can click to enter it. Your startup screen will look something like this:

Navigation

Zoom in and out by scrolling the mouse wheel. Move around the board by moving the mouse while holding down the left mouse button.
