Invite guests from outside of UiO

External users without a UiO login must receive an invitation to the team from you.

Give access to guest users:

  1. Click on the three dots next to the team to open settings. A screenshot showing the three dots next to a team in Microsoft Teams to access the settings
  2. Then click on Add member.                   The screenshot shows how to add members to a team in Microsoft Teams.                
  3. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite, and press Enter to confirm the address.                                   The screenshot shows the field where you enter the email address of the person you want to invite to a team in Microsoft Teams. 
  4. Finally click Add.

The guest will now receive an invitation link at the provided email address. The guest will also need to set up two-factor authentication.
