Bio: Hi there! My name is Khayal, and I’m from the green city of parks and lakes—Bangalore. I’m in the second year of my master’s studies and bring 8 years of experience from the automation engineering industry at ABB. I’m also the co-founder of Thresh, where I lead Business Development and Partnerships. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, running, and climbing.

Bio: Hello! Before starting my studies at the University of Oslo, I lived in Los Angeles, California. I studied Philosophy at UCLA, and after finishing my Bachelor's degree, I worked for several years as a teacher. I decided to pursue my Master's Degree at the University of Oslo! I am currently on the second year of my Master's degree, writing my thesis on the Metaphysics of Identity and the philosophical contributions of Fernando Pessoa. I love reading literature, exploring museums, travelling, and learning languages!

Bio: Hei! My name is Mieke. I am from the Netherlands and also hold the German nationality. Since 2023, I have been living in Oslo, where I have been taking the Master in Peace and Conflict Studies. There is always something new to explore here, and you can usually find me at a cozy café or in nature. I am happy to share my experiences with you and to help you feel just as at home here as I do.

Bio: I am a Masters student in Theory and Practice of Human Rights at the University of Oslo, originally from Zimbabwe. With a background in Law, Climate Justice and Advocacy. I have worked with the UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive environment for fellow international students.
