When should I go?
It is anticipated that you go abroad during the third semester, preferably to the Middle East region.
You have three options to go abroad:
-
Study Abroad: If you wish to study at a university in the Middle East or North Africa, you can take elective courses at the master's level that are relevant to your thesis.
-
Internship: You can undertake an internship by applying to an organization, business, or foreign affairs office in the Middle East as part of the course AMS4900 – International Project Term in Asia and the Middle East.
-
Fieldwork: You can choose to complete fieldwork for your master's thesis by opting for the course MES4550. By choosing this alternative, you will combine data collection with training on how to communicate research results to a broader audience. You can also complete your fieldwork during your studies abroad or your internship.
