How to apply for Visa
- Check on the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration's website to see if you need a visitor's visa to study at the ISS.
- The application process can take several months, start early.
- Contact the nearest Norwegian Embassy or Consulate as soon as you confirm your place in the program to start the visa application process.
- If Norway does not have an Embassy/Consulate in your country, contact a Swedish, Danish, German, French or Belgian Embassy or Consulate for assistance.
- If you plan to travel to other countries in the Schengen Area, you must apply for a visa that includes the total amount of time in the Schengen Area.
- If you plan to travel to countries outside of the Schengen Area, you must apply for those visas separately.
- Visa fees are not covered by any ISS scholarships.
