Join us for an evening with short talks from young researchers. Grab some snacks and learn about exciting research in sustainable energy and the energy transition. This event is open to everyone - bring friends and family for an evening of interesting talks from inspiring scientists.

Our event series "Let's Talk About Energy" showcases early career researchers and provides an informal platform for discussing their work on topics related to sustainable energy and energy transition. We invite you to an evening of cutting-edge knowledge in a laid back atmosphere. We welcome you to continue discussions after the official program ends.

  • Atia Tasfiah Azad, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Technology Systems: "Mapping the Electric Vehicle Battery Value Chain in Norway"

  • Tuva Werner-Torgersen, former Master student at the Centre for Technology, Innovation and Culture: "Clearing Skies for Take-off - How the Aviation and Energy Sectors Prepare for the Energy Transition of Aircraft"

  • Torsten Hundeb?l Hansen, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Geosciences. Title TBA, but Hansen will talk about Carbon capture and storage (CCS)

  • Ingvild Bergsbak, Doctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology: "Tandem solar cells: Why do we need them?"

  • Gulla Serville Torvund, PhD Candidate, Norwegian Centre for Nuclear Research:  "Turning Nuclear Waste into Valuable Resources through Plutonium Recycling"
