the study is based on an open-ended questionnaire about the LAs’ experience as facilitators for interdisciplinary student groups and as participants in the facilitator program. The primary objective is to equip the facilitators with the knowledge and techniques necessary to effectively guide and support interdisciplinary student groups. The study will provide valuable insights into the facilitators' experiences and how the interdisciplinary facilitator program can be adapted to extend its reach and be applied across different disciplines. By focusing on the development of these skills, the project seeks to foster a more collaborative and integrative learning environment for students from diverse academic backgrounds.
In 2024 facilitators have participated to the open-ended survey. In 2025 INTED will also conduct interviews to get a qualitative understanding of their experiences. This project will continue as The Facilitator Program develops and more facilitators enroll in the program. In 2025 there are also plans of connecting the IFP stronger to course design and expand the project with design-based research.
