Development areas
To facilitate interdisciplinary teaching and learning, we need to establish structures and activities that promote a culture of interdisciplinary competence.
We will support the development of interdisciplinary education on three scales – programs, courses, and sessions – bringing together teachers and students from different disciplines to collaborate.
Dissemination should be an active process, similar to active learning, that includes students, teachers, and institutions as partners, open for local adaptations and iterations over time.
We will develop a broad evaluation framework to assess progress and impact of the center’s activities.
INTED is involved in conducting research on and supporting the honours program and the honours certificates at UiO.
Student driven projects are an important part of INTED’s activities and the center actively strives to involve students in the development of new interdisciplinary processes. Interdisciplinary competence is vital for addressing future challenges that will require collaborating and critical thinking across disciplines.
