Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to the train platform using a debit or credit card or via the Flytoget website or app. Alternatively, the airport bus (Flybussen) offers affordable travel tickets and stops at various locations around Oslo. The bus journey takes about 45 minutes one way.

Arriving at Oslo Torp Sandefjord Airport:

Torp Sandefjord airport takes about 2 hours one-way to get to Oslo S. There are options for taking both the train or the bus. More information can be found here: https://www.visitoslo.com/en/transport/transport-airport/sandefjord-torp/

Public transport in Oslo:

Once you arrive at Oslo S, the BEST way to plan your local travel and get around the city is using the Ruter app. The Ruter system includes all buses, trams, ferries, and the subway (metro). Tickets can be purchased via the Ruter app (QR code below) or at kiosks and booths around the city. For more information, please visit the Ruter website. N.B. Purchasing tickets on-board is NOT possible on trams and the subway (metro). It is also NOT recommended to purchase tickets on-board buses and ferries as you must pay in cash (bills must be smaller than NOK 200) and you may have to pay additional onboard surcharges.
