Workshop Description
In this interactive workshop, we will focus on essential teacher competencies for designing interdisciplinary education. Participants will engage in two hands-on, experience-based sessions, exploring integrative methods (e.g., Repko & Szostak, boundary crossing) that provide a systematic approach to creating interdisciplinary courses. These techniques will help participants better understand the requirements of interdisciplinary teaching and learning. We will also reflect on how these insights can be applied to participants’ own course designs, fostering a deeper integration of interdisciplinary principles. Our goal is to build a shared understanding of interdisciplinarity while strengthening the INTED teaching community.
Additionally, we will offer on-the-spot coaching during the session on Thursday, where teachers present their current teaching practices, providing space for peer learning and professional growth.
