Enhance Your Teaching
LINK provides guidance and support for developing instructional design, learning activities and pedagogical use of digital tools.
Would you like to achieve better teaching?
BetterTeaching provides research, research-based practices, and good examples of pedagogical design, learning activities, and assessment methods. The resource was developed by university pedagogues, IT-pedagogues, video pedagogues, graphic designers, and web developers at LINK.
We have collaborated with a group of experienced educators and students at UiO who have generously shared their experiences and insights to develop better teaching. A special thanks to David Jordhus-Lier, Douwtje van der Meulen, Jonas Bakken and Marte Blikstad-Balas, and to the students who allowed us to film. The content is divided into four chapters:

Artificial Intelligence
LINK is working to explore AI in teaching and higher education in the following ways:
- Driving force for the "KI p? tvers-network" at the University of Oslo (UiO). The network develops key resource pages with advice and guidance on AI usage for both students and educators.
- Contribute in discussions on strategic priorities and directions at UiO.
- Participate in national conversations about AI in higher education with Sikt – Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research.
- Collaborate with academic communities at UiO in their research and development projects.
- Organize seminars for sharing experiences.
Sharing knowledge and competence
University of Oslo's annual Education Conference
LINK organizes the University of Oslo's annual Education Conference. Held each year on the last Thursday of November at Georg Sverdrup's House, this free event offers a platform for students and staff to exchange ideas, find inspiration, and discuss various aspects of educational quality and development.
TeachMeet
TeachMeet is an informal sharing platform for educators. The event begins with brief 5-minute presentations where concrete examples are shared. Afterwards, participants continue the exchange of experiences at the stations around the room.
In 2024, LINK will focus on AI TeachMeet, showcasing examples of the use of artificial intelligence in teaching.
SnakkOM
In SnakkOM, we address topics related to learning, education, and technology. We start with presentations followed by plenary discussions, roundtable discussions, or panel conversations.
Experience Sharing Forum
LINK organizes or participates in meetings with the faculty support units, and other networks and units related to education development, digital learning environments, learning assistants, and the use of media in teaching.
