About the event
Every year, around 2000 students travel to and from the University of Oslo to take part in exchange and degree programs. Many of them travel alone, leaving behind familiar surroundings and networks.
They hope to find their place in a new community and a different learning environment, but how do they go about it?
Incoming student Charlie Chen and outgoing student Mina Martinsen, will make a short presentation about their experiences in how to find their place in a new country, a new environment, and a new culture.
Welcome speech by Dean Frode Helland.
Afterwards we will serve pizza and mineral water/soda, and you get the opportunity to meet other students who are new at UiO, have been abroad, or wish to go abroad.
