The RITMO kitchen is the natural meeting point, a place to grab a coffee and discuss with colleagues and random visitors. Here, from one of the breaks during our RITMO Largo conference.

The RITMO kitchen also hosts our weekly Food & Paper sessions. Then, everyone gathers for a lunch seminar. The first 15 minutes are reserved for our "Admin Corner," where we inform about relevant topics and celebrate publications, birthdays, and other achievements.

The presentations during Food & Paper sessions are usually short, which gives plenty of time for interdisciplinary exchange. Here, Professor Bruno Laeng poses a question to a presenter. The soft cube he is holding is a microphone. All our activities are run in hybrid mode to allow for remote participation. The Catchbox microphone ensures good sound quality in the stream.

Project meetings are another recurring element in RITMO's everyday life; here is a DJEMBEDANCE project meeting with participants connecting from across the world.

From Telematic Testing, exploring the use of networked music technologies in a music-dance performance. The musicians and dancers were in two different locations, and the event was also streamed. The idea is to explore the importance of timing and latency in real-world performances.

Each year, RITMO organises a winter activity day. Some go cross-country skiing, others try slalom. This year, we also had a team exploring the old bobsleigh path from the Oslo 1952 Olympics. Here, PhD fellow Pedro Lucas Bravo is at full speed.

Participation in the Holmenkollen relay has become another tradition. The track starts in downtown Oslo and proceeds to the Holmenkollen ski jump before going downtown again.

Diversity is important at RITMO, and we celebrated pride in May and June. Diversity is also integrated as a core value in our Code of Conduct. Also, note the clothes-swapping table, a Green@RITMO initiative where people can leave and pick up used clothes.
