Academic interests

My research centers on the cognitive, behavioral, and physiological components of music performance science. I am particularly interested in the intra– and interpersonal synchronization of physiological rhythms between musicians and audiences in live concerts. I am also focused on the analysis of interpersonal coordination in small ensembles, as manifested in musicians' body motion and sound production, using motion capture, acoustic and electrolaryngography analysis.
