Annotemus

Annotemus is a new software for computer-assisted annotation of music recordings, with a focus on transcription.

Annotemus features a graphical user interface providing functionality for creating annotations on top of a graphical representation of an audio file.

Annotation aids include audio playback of the current window, playback between the start and end of one or several selected notes, playback that starts prior to a selected annotated note and ends at the annotated onset position, playback with a click at each annotated onset position, and playback with a synthesized version of the annotated score played in one of the stereo channels. All playback functionality is offered with the option of slowing it down to various speeds.

See more description of Annotemus in our new TISMIR paper.

Documentation and software about to be released in this page in the coming days (end of December). Just contact me if you wish to receive a beta version already.
