Om prosjektet

Hvordan og hvorfor beveger vi oss til musikk? Dette har v?rt et viktig sp?rsm?l i musikkvitenskapen og musikkpsykologien de siste ?rene. Mesteparten av forskningen har s? langt fokusert p? relativt store kroppsbevegelser, slik som dansing. Dette prosjektet vil unders?ke hvordan musikk p?virker det vi kan kalle mikrobevegelser, slik som de ?rsm? bevegelsene vi ser n?r vi st?r stille. Selv om slike mikrobevegelser knapt er synlige, kan de observeres i en bevegelseslab. Dette gj?r det mulig ? gjennomf?re studier for ? se p? effekten av musikk p? mikrobevegelser.

Prosjektet vil lede til: 

  • kunnskap om hvordan musikk p?virker menneskelig bevegelse p? et mikroniv?
  • en stor, ?pen database med opptak av mikrobevegelser
  • programvare for ? teste ut bruk av mikrobevegelser i interaktive musikksystemer

Prosjektet bygger p? den nyeste forskningen i musikkvitenskap, psykologi og nevrovitenskap. Mesteparten av forskningen foregikk i bevegelseslab'en ved Institutt for musikkvitenskap.
