Welcome to Nanophysics
Welcome to Nanophysics! This course will allow you to find out what kind of physics is behind the nanotechnology revolution. It suits well physicists, materials scientists and chemists. The course does not require exceptionally good mathematical skills or particular deep knowledge of condensed matter and statistical physics, but the enthusiasm and desire to learn are among the components necessary to reach learning outcomes. After the course, you will be able to answer questions given in the link on this webpage. The course content and pdf files of lectures are also there together with selected video from the last year. I am looking forward to start journey into Nanophysics together with you.
Due to the corona virus restrictions, first two weeks of lectures, problems solving and yours short presentations will be conducted digitally. I hope that after that we will continue working in regular format in the seminar room V414.
