Tentative schedule: Mandatory assignments

HI All,

Here is the tentative schedule for the mandatory assignments in the course. More detailed instructions about the assignments will come from Espen in the Google Drive folder, as they need to be announced for both IFI and BI students at the same time.

Spreadsheet task (individual assignment). In this assignment, you will be given a spreadsheet. The assignment will consist of two smaller deliveries. One, writing a short memo of up to 700 words giving your conclusions about the report. Two, half a page memo after a video that will be released by Espen on Thursday, after your first deliveries.

23^RD September: Assignment Opens

26^th of September at 15:00: First delivery

28^TH of September: Second delivery (half a page memo)

30^th September ¨C In class discussion of the assignment

Case research using Generative AI (individual assignment, mandatory only for IFI students). In this assignment, you will be given a case document, and a mock-up interview. You will have to select an appropriate method from the readings for the Case research lecture, and then use a generative AI tool of your choice to analyze the case. You will need to share your prompts and the answer from the tool, and your reflections about the given answer.

30^th of September: Assignment Opens (after the case research lecture)

4^th of November: Delivery

Simulation assignment (individual assignment, no lecture this week). In this assignment, you will run an online simulation from Harvard business school. You will need to run the simulation and enter your reflections in a shared Google document. The week after, the simulations will be discussed in class.

21^st of October: Assignment opened

28^th or 30 of October: Assignment closes

Innovation process assignment (group work). You will be given a case, and each group will have to recommend a strategy for deploying a novel product. You will record your assignment as a video, publish it and share it in a Google document via a link. You will also need to watch the videos of the other groups.

7^th of October: Assignment opens

Deadline: Tentative.

Term paper (group work). Instructions about this are published already in the Google drive.

30^th of October: Students present shortly in class on the case they have selected.

You can start working on this already, and select a case of your choice.
