What to do
In this project we will design and print 3D parts. The main motivation for this project is to be familiar with voxel design and constructive solid geometry in our generative design library genLib and practical effects and challenges with FDM printing. We will also look at the design flow from voxels to STL code to G-code.
Specifications
- You are free to design whatever you want.
- If you are able to attend the physical lab (no requirement), you are encouraged to print several parts to obtain a wide experience with 3D printing. The printer is your personal assigned Creality Ender
- The CAD tool in this project is genLib, and the slicer is Cura
Submission/upload requirements
- A photo or a Matlab plot / screendump picture of your most interesting part
- The Matlab code and G-code from Cura that will produce the part
- Uploads on Devilry
