There will be a repetition lecture Thursday the 9th of December. I will go quickly through the curriculum of the course, and then I will open for questions. If you know your questions before the lecture, it would be good if you could e-mail them to me before the lecture.
I made the the mandatory assignment 2 submission in Canvas some time ago, but unfortunately I did not publish it. Therefore it has not been available for you until now.
The deadline has been extended one day to ensure that everyone manages to submit. Please let me know if you have any problems with the submission.

I have uploaded all guest lecture presentations, and the presentation for tomorrows lecture.
The second mandatory assignment is now available. The visual servoing lecture will be held the 4th of nov., while the rest of the topics in the assignment have already been lectured.
Today Ole Jakob Elle will come to ITS to give a guest lecture on tele-operations and haptics. He works at Rikshospitalet, Oslo University Hospital, and at the Department of Informatics, UiO, and the focus of the guest lecture will be medical applications.
This week we will have a video lecture. This means that there will be no lecture tomorrow. The video is available in the course schedule.
Next lecture will be a flipped classroom session. I have posted a introduction lecture on ROS and a tutorial on ROS that you must watch before the next lecture. Then at the lecture time you will be groups two and two and solve some assignments related to ROS. Please bring a laptop to the lecture. You do not need to install ROS for the lecture, as the university will have a virtual machine available through VMware Horizon.
The department has proposed the 14th of December as the date for the written exam. If you have a conflicting exam, please send me an e-mail immediately.
Tomorrow we will cover the second half of the motion control chapter in the textbook. The virtual machines with ROS are not ready, so we will have the flipped classroom session with ROS next week.
I just want to remind everyone that mandatory assignment 1 was made available on Monday. It is important to work with the assignment the whole period, as it is quite large.
I have added everyone registered to the course to the course Team. If you have problems accessing the team, please send me an e-mail.
The Team is a place where you can discuss the course topics with your fellow students. I will also reply to questions, but try to respond to each others questions, so you get faster feedback.
Welcome to the first lecture on Thursday this week. The lecture will consist of an introduction to the course, what it will cover and what you will learn. Then we will have a general introduction to control theory. For some of you this might be mostly repetition, but others might some new topics.
The lecture will be held in room 402 at ITS. I plan to record the lectures and post them on the course website. However, the current room is not well suited for recordings, as it does not have a digital blackboard. I will discuss possible solution for this problem with you in the lecture.
