Welcome to this course in Statistical Learning Methods in Data Science!
The main textbook will be The Elements of Statistical Learning by Hastie, Tibshirani and Friedman
A plan for the first weeks is given under the schedule tag. This page will be updated during the course and will contain links to the presentations that will be used.
Usually, we will have exercises on Tuesdays and lectures on Wednesdays, but for the first week, there will be two sets of lectures, while in the second week, we will use both days for exercises.
There will be no video recording of the lectures.
