PSYFL5010 – Introduction to Science: Research and Practice II

Course content

The course is an extension of PSYFL5000. The participants will have a main focus on the writing process in academia and will receive and give detailed feedback from their peers. Specific workshops focusing on introduction, method, and discussion will be given.

Furthermore, the participants will immerse themselves in a self-selected topic based on the research project the student is associated with and after a detailed description from the main supervisor. This self-selected topic will be presented to the other peers, and there will be an individual report.

The course requires enrollment at the student research program at PSI

Passed PSYFL5000

Teaching

4 seminars

Examination

To pass the course, the following is required:

1) The candidate must have sufficient attendance (3 out of 4 meetings).

2) The candidate must deliver an assignment. The assignment must be 5-8 pages long and approved by the head of the student research program (Forskerlinje).

Grading scale

The grading scale is pass/fail.
