Introduction to the referencing tool Zotero (English course)

Transkribus is a comprehensive platform for the digitisation, AI-powered text recognition, transcription, and searching of historical documents. In this workshop you will get a demonstration of Transkribus and learn how you can use this tool in your research.

Do you want, or need, to learn Python programming for your research, but have no, or little, previous knowledge? Do you want to refresh your basic skills in Python programming? Or, do you want your team members to learn Python? If yes, then this workshop is for you and/or your team!

Data Carpentry develops and teaches workshops on the fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. Its target audience is researchers who have little to no prior computational experience, and its lessons are domain-specific, building on learners' existing knowledge to enable them to quickly apply skills learned to their own research.

This workshop introduces you to GitHub, a widely used platform for developing, managing and storing code and documentation. Today, GitHub is home to a growing number of research projects. Researchers and developers collaborate across institutional and national borders and share their code and software for data analysis alongside documentation, notes, and project reports.

This course gives an introduction to the reference tool EndNote.

This online workshop over 4 half days (25 - 28 Oct, 9am-12pm) will be streamed on Twitch and is open for all, so no registration is needed.
