Lunch and Lecture with B?rd Lahn

"Unburnable oil - Power and responsibility in the Norwegian energy transition" kicks of the Energy Transition Week at the Green Office.

CICERO-researcher B?rd Lahn will present different perspectives on where power and responsibility lie in the Norwegian energy transition.

It is well known that the Norwegian economy relies heavily on oil and gas exports. However, political leaders show little intention of curbing this dependency to reach global climate goals.

The impacts of fossil fuels and emissions have been known for decades, but progress toward a sustainable energy system remains too slow. Who holds the power to drive the energy transition?

Come enjoy this insightful lecture and free lunch together with B?rd and the Green Office team.

The talk will be held in English and take place at Scene Realfagsbiblioteket at Vilhelm Bjerknes building.

Hope to see you there!
