Posters

Poster templates are available in the formats 50 x 70 cm and 70 x 100 cm, and are based on a shared graphic system. This ensures a consistent identity and visual expression across the university. Here are examples of posters and downloadable files for InDesign.

The fixed frames in the layout ensures that the use of images and colours can be adjusted to accommodate the content and goal of the posters, without loosing the University's shared identity.

About the templates

The templates should be used for all University posters. Sizes and the placement of signature and seal should not be altered. Titles and texts should always be left-aligned as showed in the grid below, but can be adjusted up or down depending on particular needs. Images and color fields can be used as a full background or in defined fields as shown in the grids.

UiO's profile font, Swiss 721, and the profile colours should be used. There are defined styles for titles and text, but the font size may be adjusted to function optimally for the content and amount of text.

The grid is constructed with different layouts for images and text. The dark field is used to communicate the name of the faculty, department etc. and is optional.
