Access card

Students and employees need an access card to enter UiO's buildings outside of regular opening hours.

Everyone affiliated to UiO for more than three months must have their own access card with name and photo. This applies to both students, ph.d. candidates, employees and guests. For employees, the card should normally be issued on their first working day.

The access card also serves as identification when you are at UiO. Remember that you must carry the card with you. It must be presented  to security personell upon request. The card is personal. It is not permitted to lend it or transfer it to others in any way.
