Research from UiO forms the basis for new solutions to important societal needs.

By promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, we ensure that our research can be transformed into solutions with significant value for society.

We facilitate innovation in several ways: through units that support students and staff in innovation processes, through collaboration with the business sector, and through new meeting places that foster innovation.

The Life Science Building and Oslo Science City

To develop excellent knowledge and put it to use requires good facilitation at all levels. UiO is currently engaged in several major construction and development projects that will lay the foundation for future research, education, and innovation activities.
