- The Research Award: Professor ?ystein Linnebo, Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas
- The Education Award: Professor Dag Kristian Dysthe, Department of Physics
- The Dissemination award: Associate Professor Cathrine Thorleifsson, Department of Social Anthropology
- The Innovation Award: Adjunct Professor Kjetil Taskén, Institute of Clinical Medicine
- Award for Young Researchers: Professor Mareile Kaufmann, Department of Criminology and Sociology of Law
– We honour UiO's very best researchers, communicators and teachers through these awards. These five award winners show that long-term, targeted and hard work contributes to competence and knowledge that benefits us all. I am looking forward to presenting the awards at UiO's annual party in September, says rector Svein St?len.
Vice-rector ?se Gornitzka leads the awards committee which is responsible for the appointments.

About the University Board Awards
The University of Oslo annually awards five awards for research, young researchers, education, dissemination, and innovation.
The awards are given as a recognition of outstanding efforts and aim to stimulate increased activity and inspire the academic communities at the University of Oslo. Each winner received 250,000 NOK and a work of art.
