Through the centuries, classical music has been used for amusement and entertainment. It has also often had underlining democratic functions, reflecting the voices of society between the musical notes.
This years season opening of Aulaseriene concert series will reflect upon these aspects of music: The aesthetic amusement where the exchange of opinions lies hidden as undertones – which will be brought into the light.
