About me
I work as a Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, where I conduct my PhD work on using artificial intelligence in sleep examinations in children. In addition, I teach medical students about diseases in ear, nose and throat. I really enjoy teaching medical students, and experience that teaching is a great opportunity to shaping the future doctors. In the past, I have created e-learning resources and an educational podcast for medical students.
I studied medicine at the University of Oslo, and therefore, the medical studies and being a student at the university are well-known for me. Being a student and a temporary academic employee have many common features. Both activities have an end date with the advantages and disadvantages that follow. In this way, I am motivated to use the experiences from my studies and as a temporary academic employee to create the best possible workplace for you.
I experienced coming home when I started working for the University of Oslo. My studies have given me a strong belonging and desire to contribute for the university. My colleagues describe me as a flexible, hardworking and structured person. I want to use these qualities constructively so that you, as a temporary academic employee, can have the best possible everyday life. Therefore, I would like to run for a position on the University Board.
